Frequently Asked Questions

The Answers You Need

FAQ: FAQ

How can I check on my pet during their stay?

You are always welcome to text or call to find out how much fun your pet is having.

We do offer a FREE text update! Leave a contact number upon drop off and we can send you updates and a picture during your pets stay with us.

My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?

Absolutely! We can customize feeding and medication administration and also offer lunch options. Does your pet get a snack after breakfast or dinner? We can make sure your routine stays the same.

Do you feed your pet a raw or frozen diet? We have a refrigerator for that!

What do you supply for overnight boarding?

Slumber party style sleeping arrangements. We don't use kennels, cages, crates, or dog runs. We are a home like environment with beds, couches, comfortable blankets, TV's or radio's, and large outdoor play yards.

Does my pet need to be spayed or neutered?

Yes, we ask that all pets over 12 months of age be spayed or neutered.

We can possibly accommodate dogs from the same family where one or the other may not be fixed or where a vet recommended to delay a puppy beyond 12 months of age from getting spayed or neutered. Please call and ask for this type of situation.

What vaccines are required?

All vaccines must be up to date. We require a current Rabies (except in the case of puppies under 4 months of age) certificate. Proof of Distemper Parvo and Bordetella must also be provided. We are not currently requiring Canine Influenza, but it is strongly recommended.

We also strongly recommend your dog be on heartworm preventative and flea/tick control.

What if my pet has special health needs?

Although we ask that all pets be in overall good or excellent health, we understand that at times our pets may require medications to keep them at their optimal health. We are trained to administer both oral and injectable medications for such conditions as diabetes, thyroid, allergies, joint pain, etc.
If your pet will need to be medicated during their stay the cost will be reflective on whether the medication is oral or injectable.
